Oh Hey,
I'm Tay
& this is
My Story
WRITER. AUTHOR. LIFE COACH.
I know what it feels like to outgrow your life.
I grew up in rural Nebraska. But as I approached my late twenties I felt stuck and unfulfilled. So, I joined the Air Force looking for self-discovery, independence, adventure, and a fresh start.
Fast-forward nearly a decade, and I’ve lived through:
- Losing structure and purpose after military service.
- Navigating authenticity after coming out as gay in my mid-twenties after identity suppression.
- Reinventing myself personally and professionally outside of performance and people-pleasing.
Yeah, I’ve navigated life transitions, identity shifts, and rebuilding – more than once. And what I’ve learned is this:
Clarity, purpose, and a life you love isn’t something you stumble into. It’s something you build.
My work isn’t about hype. It’s about alignment.
I help you think clearly, decide intentionally, and act courageously. Because your next chapter in life deserves more than confusion. It deserves clarity.
And you deserve to live a life you love!
One Life. Full Send.
Some facts about me:
- I absolutely love writing! Poetry, blogs, essays, anything that allows me to be creative and talk about what I love. I published my first book, She Will Rise, in 2022, and I’m currently almost finished with my first memoir. After that, I have four collections of poetry ready to hit the shelves.
- I joined the military when I was 26 to escape Nebraska and start a fresh new life so I could chase my dreams. I spent 6 years as a military cop and lived in both Italy and Guam for two years each.
- I have a bachelors degree is psychology, a masters degree in communications, a life coach certificate, and over eight other certifications (learning is one of my passions).
- I love sky diving, scuba diving, climbing big mountains, and pretty much anything else that gets my adrenaline pumping.
- One of my childhood dreams was to be the greatest female fighter of all time. I trained boxing and MMA until I tore a tendon in my right foot/ankle and spent a year in a walking boot because I refused to stop training.
- I discovered I was gay when I was 24 after attending my first Toastmasters meeting (you’ll have to read my memoir for the full story). This realization was a huge turning point in my life.
- Some of my biggest passions are advocating for mental health, empowering women, helping the LGBTQ+ community, and working to reduce suicide rates among the youth population.
I think we'd be great friends!
Come hang out with me on social media. I promise that I’m cool (just ask my dog).
