She Will Rise
Some battles happen quietly – behind closed doors and inside anxious minds. They are the battles that don’t leave visible scars but often hurt more than the ones that do.
She Will Rise is a deeply vulnerable poetry collection about mental health, identity loss, resilience, healing, and learning how to find and rebuild yourself after life breaks you apart.
Written with raw honesty and depth, the poems in this collection explore:
-
- anxiety
- depression
- self-worth and identity
- loneliness
- healing, hope, and transformation
Divided into three parts, She Will Rise is more than a collection of random poems. It is a story of personal transformation told through poetry. Throughout the book, the reader is taken on an intimate journey of finding the courage to face their demons, confront their reflection, and embrace their worthiness and power.
This book will make you feel seen while reminding you that the hero you’re looking for is inside you.
Your Story Isn't Over;
Part One
She Fell
Poetry that explores thoughts and feelings about not belonging and feeling insignificant and scared. How does it feel when you lose yourself and are more concerned about who you think you must be instead of being who you are? Falling is about being at the lowest of lows, that bottom place, where you feel broken, lost, and alone.
Part Two
She Cried
In part two, the poetry takes you on a journey through the process of self-discovery and healing. The poetry is about self-reflection, confronting emotions, contemplating the path to healing, and coming to the realization that the most courageous thing you can do, is honor who you really are.
Part Three
She Decided to Rise
Part three is about realizing and embracing your true power. The poetry explores what it means to rise and how you can thrive despite what you’ve been through. This part empowers you to own who you are and what you’ve been through because it does not define you. You have the power to rewrite you story.
Reader Love
I’ve read this book a couple of times but my favorite things to do is open to a random page and just read it. Thank you for putting into words the feelings some of us can’t explain, thank you for the empowerment, thank you for the encouragement. You are an incredible writer, poet, and person.
It has strong and powerful words about life and rising to be who we are meant to be. Hits ya right in the feelers. It is a wonderfully written book, and has hit so many good points about how to move past pain and hurt and to dance with them. Amazing book.
From one who has suffered with depression and anxiety for years, this book reminds me that I’m not alone. It’s a great read that you can pick up over and over again and find more meaning every time.
This book has me thinking of my past feelings, present thoughts, and future hopes. Well done.
