My Story

"

WRITER. AUTHOR. LIFE COACH.

I know what it feels like to lose your spark and outgrow your life.

I grew up in rural Nebraska. But as I approached my late twenties, I felt stuck and unfulfilled. I wanted more from myself, and I wanted more from my life. So, I joined the military looking for self-discovery, independence, adventure, and a fresh start.

Fast-forward nearly a decade, and I’ve lived through a lot of shit. I’ve reinvented my purpose after losing the structure of the military. I’ve embraced authenticity after coming out as gay in my mid-twenties. And I’ve completely redefined what I want my life to look like outside of performance and people-pleasing.

I am no stranger to chaos and the parts of life that knock you off your feet and think, “What in the actual fuck?” But through it all, what I’ve learned is this:

Clarity, purpose, fulfillment, and a life you love isn’t something that just falls into your lap. It’s something you build.

And it’s absolutely worth the effort, at least in my opinion.

I’m not afraid to say that I am many things. But at the end of the day, I’m really just an adventure-loving tomboy who has a wild spirit, a curious mind, and a huge fucking heart. And I’m absolutely obsessed with helping evoke positive transformation in the lives of others so that they can create more authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.

As naive as it sounds, I really do believe that part of our purpose as human beings on earth is to experience joy and live in alignment with who we are and what we want.

My work as a coach isn’t about hype. It’s about creating a life that you love living.

And you deserve to live a life you love!

One Life. Full Send.

Show up authentically. Live boldly.

Some facts about me:

  • I absolutely love writing! Poetry, blogs, essays, anything that allows me to be creative and talk about what I love. I have published two books: She Will Rise, and Butterflies and Bullet Holes. And I’m currently writing my first memoir.
  • I joined the military when I was 26 to escape Nebraska and start a fresh new life so I could chase my dreams. I spent 6 years as a military cop and lived in both Italy and Guam, which allowed me to be a world traveler and experience a lot of really cool shit.
  • I have a bachelors degree is psychology, a masters degree in communications, a life coach certificate, and over eight other certifications (learning is one of my passions).
  • I love sky diving, scuba diving, climbing big mountains, and pretty much anything else that gets my adrenaline pumping.
  • One of my childhood dreams was to be the greatest female fighter of all time. I trained boxing and MMA until I tore a tendon in my right foot/ankle and spent a year in a walking boot because I refused to stop training.
  • I discovered I was gay when I was 24 after attending my first Toastmasters meeting (you’ll have to read my memoir for the full story). This realization was a huge turning point in my life.
  • Some of my biggest passions are advocating for mental health, empowering women, helping the LGBTQ+ community, and wildlife and nature conservation.

I think we'd be great friends!

Come hang out with me on social media. I promise that I’m cool (just ask my dog).
